L-Mesitran is a Medical Grade Honey (MGH) wound care range, pioneered in the EU in 2002 and now used in wound care protocols in over 70 countries. Its antibacterial, anti-inflammatory action helps cleanse, debride and stimulate healing across all wound types and stages, and independent research shows it outperforms both raw Manuka honey and silver-based dressings for antimicrobial effect.
L-Mesitran Foam is a polyurethane foam dressing coated with L-Mesitran Soft gel, combining high absorbency with the antibacterial benefits of Medical Grade Honey. It is capable of absorbing and retaining high volumes of exudate, making it suitable for moderate to heavily exudating wounds, or as a protective cushioning layer.
