L-Mesitran is a Medical Grade Honey (MGH) wound care range, pioneered in the EU in 2002 and now used in wound care protocols in over 70 countries. Its antibacterial, anti-inflammatory action helps cleanse, debride and stimulate healing across all wound types and stages, and independent research shows it outperforms both raw Manuka honey and silver-based dressings for antimicrobial effect.
L-Mesitran Hydro is a hydro-active antibacterial dressing containing 30% Medical Grade Honey. It is capable of absorbing up to nine times its own weight in wound fluid, making it ideal for superficial wounds with light to moderate exudate. The dressing does not have an adhesive border and must be fixated in place with a secondary bandage or adhesive tape.
