L-Mesitran is a Medical Grade Honey (MGH) wound care range, pioneered in the EU in 2002 and now used in wound care protocols in over 70 countries. Its antibacterial, anti-inflammatory action helps cleanse, debride and stimulate healing across all wound types and stages, and independent research shows it outperforms both raw Manuka honey and silver-based dressings for antimicrobial effect.
L-Mesitran Ointment is an antibacterial ointment containing 48% Medical Grade Honey, supplemented with vitamins C and E and essential oils. It is indicated specifically for the removal of necrotic tissue and debris, helping to prepare the wound bed for healing. Available in 20g and 50g tubes and a 250g jar for larger or ongoing treatment needs.
