L-Mesitran is a Medical Grade Honey (MGH) wound care range, pioneered in the EU in 2002 and now used in wound care protocols in over 70 countries. Its antibacterial, anti-inflammatory action helps cleanse, debride and stimulate healing across all wound types and stages, and independent research shows it outperforms both raw Manuka honey and silver-based dressings for antimicrobial effect.
L-Mesitran Tulle is an open-weave mesh dressing impregnated with L-Mesitran Soft gel, allowing it to conform closely to the wound bed while remaining low-adherent. It is suited to superficial wounds with none to moderate exudate and is typically covered with a secondary dressing.
