This sterile, 3-ply surgical mask with tie closures is designed to be placed over the nose and mouth of a healthcare worker to permit normal breathing while protecting both the worker and patients from the transfer of microorganisms, blood, body fluids and airborne particulate material during medical, surgical or dental procedures. It is made of multiple layers of non-woven polymer with a forming nosepiece and is secured with fabric ties for a firm, adjustable fit.
