Roosin Calcium Alginate wound dressings are made from soft, conformable alginate fibres. When exudate from the wound contacts the dressing, the sodium alginate in the fibres absorbs the fluid and forms a soft gel. This gel maintains a moist wound healing environment at the wound surface without adhering to the delicate healing tissue in the wound bed, making dressing changes comfortable.
Roosin Medical is an internationally certified (CE, ISO 13485, FDA) wound care manufacturer distributed exclusively in South Africa by Dynamed.
